Lea Halberstein

Lea Halberstein is a graduate of the Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. Lea earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Boston University, then taught English in Martinique and worked as a paralegal at two law firms prior to law school.
During law school, Lea completed internships at the Due Diligence Project (a human rights research and advocacy non-profit), the Massachusetts Appeals Court, Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick (a veterans’ disability benefits law firm), and the District Court of the District of Massachusetts. She conducted research in international human rights, indigenous rights, immigration, and domestic violence. She also participated in several extracurricular activities, including the Northeastern University Law Review, Domestic Violence Clinic, International Law Society, and the Community Income Sharing Program.
Lea is passionate about promoting social justice, equality, human rights, and corporate social responsibility. She enjoys traveling, hiking, meeting people from around the world, practicing her French, trying new foods, and snuggling with her rescue pup, Roux.
